Free for Patients — Aman earns a commission. Aman is a matching and discovery platform that connects Patients with independent mental-health professionals. Patients pay nothing to download the app, create an account, browse Therapists, or book — you simply pay your chosen Therapist's own rate for the session. Aman earns its revenue through a commission on the services Therapists provide through the Platform.
Aman App ("Aman", "we", "us") provides the technology that helps people find and connect with independent Therapists. Aman does not set the price of therapy — each Therapist sets their own hourly rate. There is no subscription or listing fee to use the service. Instead, Aman charges a commission on the fees Therapists earn for the services they provide through the Platform.
Each independent Therapist sets their own hourly rate for their services — Aman does not set or control session prices. The Patient pays the Therapist's rate for the session, and Aman retains a commission on that fee in return for the matching, booking, and payment-facilitation services it provides. The Therapist receives the remainder. You should confirm a Therapist's hourly rate before booking.
Aman's commission is a percentage of the fee charged for each completed session facilitated through the Platform. The commission is how we fund and operate the service. The applicable rate, and how it is calculated and deducted, is disclosed to Therapists in advance and may change from time to time on reasonable notice. For Patients, the commission is already included in the rate you pay your Therapist — there is no separate charge to you.
Payment functionality within the app is currently limited and still in development. Where in-app payments and commission collection become available, they will be handled by trusted third-party payment processors under their own terms and privacy policies, and Aman does not store your full card number. We will update this page when payment features change.
In addition to the commission model, we may introduce optional paid features in the future — for example, premium tiers, membership programs, or a "Verified Therapist" badge for Therapists who enrol in such a program. If we introduce any such charge:
A "Verified Therapist" badge, if offered, would signify only that a Therapist has met our verification criteria and/or joined the relevant program. It is not an endorsement, ranking, or guarantee of quality, as explained in our Terms & Conditions.
Commissions and any future fees may be exclusive of taxes, which are payable where applicable. Therapists are solely responsible for the taxes arising from the fees they charge for their own services.
We may update this Pricing Plan from time to time, including the commission rate, on reasonable notice. When we make material changes, we will post the updated plan on this page with a revised "Effective date".
